blogging break

Life is going to be very busy (in a good way) for the next 6 weeks so I may take a break from the daily blogging.  Or shorten considerably my food logs.  My reason for doing this blog was to show examples of how you eat healthy because I think examples are the easiest way to put in practice what you learn from the books.   I also wanted to go through an entire year to show how you can enjoy different foods in different seasons.  But I'm not really sure how useful this all is, and if it's not so useful, I definitely have other things that are pressing right now.

Looks like we are preaching to the choir. Except I have gotten a couple of emails on a biking website from other riders who have followed my eating journal and saying they have learned alot.

I've definitely learned a lot and been very inspired by your blog. I completely understand how busy life can be, but I will miss your regular posts! :-) Hope life is bringing you lots of fun and joy!

I stumbled upon your blog by accident and have been reading everyday. I too follow the eat to live lifestyle and love it. Anyway, thanks for sharing and I hope you can find time to keep writing!

Hi, thanks for the comments. That's nice to know that the blog is a bit useful. Do you know I haven't told most of my friends or family about it? That's because I think people will think I'm crazy. That's not indicative of confidence or high self-image is it? Perhaps I should "come out" about it. Okay, I'll put my real name on the blog. eek!

I have been ETLing for a long time and found your daily posts a source of inspiration and wonder. Wonder at how little you seem to eat and yet are satisfied.

really? I get really full eating all this stuff. But I'm 49 years old and I have a lower metabolism than I used to. If I were younger, I would definitely need to eat more grains and nuts.

Oh, Barb! It was fun to check up on your blog all the time. Although I just took a break of nearly 2 weeks from my own blog, because "life got too busy." But, I'll try again. We'll see how it goes. I know it can seem like the same old boring same old same old to you, but to the followers of the blog, it's just fun. Whatever you do, Best wishes.

thanks everyone for your comments! okay, I will stick with it. Please let me know if you have suggestions for improvements. Should I write more than just the food postings? watch out for that, I can ramble a lot.

Mary, I hope you keep blogging too. I enjoy catching up with what you are doing too.
