I need to lose a few lbs. I'm not sure how much, maybe 5. I've been overeating a fair amount this past year and it shows in my clothes and on the scale. I decided to post here so I feel more accountable. I plan to monitor my food intake and I'll try post my meals, calories and weight every day. If I feel like eating when I'm not hungry, I'll journal about it (elsewhere, as that would be a boring read!). Emotional eating has been an issue for me the last few years. I'm told that journaling and mindfulness are good techniques for dealing with that.
I'll plan to start daily posting tomorrow. Note that weekends are usually different from weekdays and I get more "treats" on weekends (things like sweet potatoes and frozen sweet cherries and soy yogurt). Weekdays are repetitious but that doesn't bother me. I'm striving to become a "fast-food nutritarian." I want to focus on other things in my life besides meal prep. I'm pretty sure I can come up with quick meals that taste great. Mother nature and farmers have done all the work by making delicious produce. I just have to throw them together.

Anxious to see your posts! I'm facing incredible scheduling pressures right now due to circumstances outside my control and also need to become a "fast food nutritarian"! Will look forward to hearing your ideas!!
