I am vicariously following your challenge...Hi All,<br /><br />I am vicariously following your challenge while doing my own. I was worried that if I committed to this challenge, I would tank. Sometimes, when I feel like I *have* to do things, that is counterproductive for me. This is even what happened to me on the ETL message boards. I read as I have time and post occasionally and that seems to be best for me. Although, for the moment, I am doing quite well and in the mindset that I have to change my life. Anyway, I just want to add another successful voice to this challenge, even if I am not participating for the Vitamix. Ultimately, my motivation has to be internal or I just don't do it. I had the same problem. Sometimes I do better with 4 smaller meals a day due to my schedule and activity level. I found being part of this challenge gave me the little extra boost I needed to stick to the veggies, fruits and beans. I have yet to do well when I restrict amounts. I think it's because I am already thin and very active. Restricting the amount I eat seems to backfire for me. I even get sort of depressed. That doesn't seem right to me.
